MIDSUMMER
1 oz Navy Strength Gin
1/2 oz Strega liqueur
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz kaffir lime leaf syrup
1 oz coconut milk
Shake all ingredients together. Filter using a fine strainer and pour into a pre-chilled glass.
Garnish with grated nutmeg.
Kaffir Lime Syrup: Boil 500ml of water with 5 to 6 kaffir lime leaves - remove their stems to eliminate bitterness. Cover and let infuse for 10 minutes. Add 500ml of brown sugar and bring back to boil. Let cool. Once at room temperature, filter and store in an airtight container in the fridge to keep for up to 1 month.
