Vodka Terroir

Vodka Terroir

Clean, local and quietly expressive.

A grain vodka made from Québec corn, distilled in Montréal for people who care about what is in their glass. Vodka Terroir is ditilled over twenty hours in a 24 foot vodka column, which raises purity without stripping flavour and creates a velvety texture that gently coats the palate. A grain to bottle vodka from Québec corn

Vodka Terroir is first a question of origin. It is made from Québec corn and distilled in Montréal, with a flavour profile that reflects that choice of grain. In the glass, it is soft and measured. There is a quiet sweetness, a hint of caramel and a very subtle toffee note that appears as the vodka settles on the palate. The texture is smooth and coating rather than sharp, which makes it comfortable to sip and naturally suited to simple long drinks.

The intention is not to erase character, but to keep it under control. Vodka Terroir is built to be clean and understated, yet present enough that you can tell it was made from grain with care. Neat, it shows its texture and gentle sweetness. In a Martini, a Mule or a seasonal cocktail, it brings structure and mouthfeel without pulling focus from the other ingredients. It is the reference point for CIRKA’s vodka range and the base on which many of the distillery’s other expressions are built.

Cocktails with Vodka Terroir

Casino Martini

A refined twist on the classic Vesper Martini, the Casino Martini brings Vodka Terroir together with Gin Sauvage, Lillet and floral bitters. The result is bold and crisp, with a clean structure and just enough aromatic lift for people who like their Martinis with character.

Kyiv Mule

A citrus led take on the Moscow Mule, the Kyiv Mule layers Vodka Terroir with house clementine syrup, fresh lime and ginger beer. It stays refreshing and easy to drink, with enough spice and depth to feel more considered than a standard Mule.

Gilford

A luxurious, nut-forward cocktail that combines Vodka Terroir with orgeat almond syrup, bright lemon, and a hint of absinthe. Silky egg white foam creates a smooth texture, while crushed toasted almonds add aroma and crunch. Perfect for an elevated aperitif or evening indulgence.

Distilled by CIRKA

Built on Quebec terroir, distilled in Montréal

Vodka Terroir starts with corn grown in Quebec, brought directly to CIRKA’s distillery in Montreal. The grain is cooked into a mash and fermented in small controlled batches. Time, temperature and yeast are managed carefully so the wash stays clean, steady and ready for a precise run through the still.

Distillation happens in a 24 foot vodka column over more than twenty hours. Plates, reflux and heat are adjusted gradually to reach a point where purity, texture and a quiet hint of sweetness align. Only the heart of the run is kept, then lightly filtered and proofed with water. What you taste is Quebec grain, careful fermentation and a long, disciplined distillation, bottled at a point where the vodka feels both very smooth and quietly expressive.

No. Vodka Terroir has a gentle sweet impression and notes of caramel and licorice, but it is not a sweetened vodka. The sweetness comes from the way the spirit is distilled from corn and how the heart is selected, not from added flavourings. In cocktails it behaves as a clean, structured base spirit.

Vodka Terroir sits at 40 percent alc./vol., which is the classic strength for premium vodka. That gives it enough structure for Martinis and highballs while remaining smooth enough to sip on ice.

Yes. Serve it well chilled in a small glass, or over a large ice cube. The velvety texture becomes more obvious and the soft caramel and grain notes show without the harsh edges you might expect from vodka. Many people treat it as an aperitif or as a clean, simple end of evening pour.

If you enjoy well balanced spirits and care about origin, there is a good chance you will. Vodka Terroir is not a neutral mixer. It is a grain to bottle vodka with a clear link to Québec and a texture that will feel familiar if you already appreciate thoughtful whisky or gin. Think of it as a precise, quiet base spirit that can either stand on its own or support the flavours you already like.
