The Autumn Sour is a cozy, sophisticated cocktail that combines Gin Sauvage, bergamot & fig, citrus, and a silky egg white foam. With hints of star anise and nutmeg, it’s a perfectly balanced drink that evokes the flavors and aromas of fall.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Gin Sauvage

  • 1 oz Bergamot & Fig Mix

  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 0.75 oz Water

  • 1 Egg White


How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker and dry shake (no ice) for 10–15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.

  2. Add ice and shake again until well chilled.

  3. Strain into a pre-chilled glass using a fine strainer.

  4. Garnish with a star anise and a light sprinkle of nutmeg.


Pro Tips 

  • Substitute aquafaba for egg white for a vegan version.

  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best balance of tartness and depth.
