Chili Margarita

 

The Chili Margarita is everything you crave: spicy, smoky, sweet, and tart. Made with chili vodka, fresh citrus, and agave, this cocktail is rimmed with holy mole powder for an extra kick. Optional ginger beer adds effervescence for a bold, fiery twist. Perfect for fiesta nights or adventurous sips.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Chili Vodka

  • 1.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice

  • 0.5 oz Fresh Orange Juice

  • 1 oz Agave Syrup

  • Holy Mole Rimming Powder (recipe below)

  • Ginger Beer, optional, to top

  • Lime wheels or wedges, for garnish


How to Make It

  1. Wet the edge of a glass with lime juice.

  2. Dip the glass in Holy Mole Powder and set aside.

  3. In a shaker filled with ice, combine chili vodka, lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup. Shake vigorously.

  4. Carefully add ice to your rimmed glass without disturbing the rim.

  5. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.

  6. Garnish with lime wheels or wedges.

  7. Optional: Top with a splash of ginger beer for extra fizz and spice.


Holy Mole Powder Recipe

  • ¼ part Himalayan pink salt

  • ¼ part Ground pink pepper

  • ½ part 85% cocoa powder

  • Mix and store in a lidded jar in a cool, dry place for up to 1 month.

  • Balance the heat: Adjust chili vodka or add more agave syrup to soften the spice.

  • Optional fizz: Ginger beer adds complexity and a refreshing kick.
