Kyiv Mule

 

A spirited riff on the classic Moscow Mule, the Kyiv Mule layers terroir-driven vodka with bright citrus and warm spice. Clementine syrup and lime juice bring a sunny, aromatic lift, perfectly balanced with the snap of ginger beer. Refreshing yet complex, this mule is a crowd-pleaser with depth.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Vodka Terroir

  • 1 oz Clementine syrup (see recipe below)

  • 0.75 oz Lime juice (fresh squeezed)

  • Ginger beer to top


How to Make It

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.

  2. Add Vodka Terroir, Clementine syrup, and lime juice.

  3. Shake vigorously until chilled.

  4. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.

  5. Top with ginger beer and give a gentle stir.

  6. Garnish with lime wheels and mint.

Clementine Syrup Recipe

  1. Bring 500 ml water to a boil with 6 halved clementines, 3 star anise, and 4 cloves.

  2. Simmer for 20 minutes, cover, and let infuse for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove solids, let cool, and strain.

  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.

  • Elevate the mule experience by serving in a chilled copper mug.

  • Express a strip of clementine peel over the top before serving for added citrus oils.
